Так зарождается удивительная дружба, которая быстро оказывается под угрозой: местный браконьер Тарек жаждет заработать на молодом верблюде, ведь тот оказался исключительным бегуном и может выиграть не одно соревнование. Чтобы уберечь четвероногого друга, Зоди отправляется в опасное путешествие через всю Сахару. Их ждет множество опасностей — стычки с бандитами, песчаные бури и соленое море — и большая цель на горизонте: стать участниками легендарной верблюжьей гонки в Абу-Даби.
